Our Mission
Hope For All exists to realize the rights and dignity of orphaned children in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Specifically, our mission is to ensure that the 100 children living in our partner orphanage in Kinshasa DRC have their essential needs met. Hope For All fundraises in order to cover 100% of school tuition for each child, to purchase monthly nutrition assistance, and to support unforeseen medical and construction needs at the orphanage. Our goal is to provide consistent, equitable, and community-based support to these children, so they can have the opportunity to thrive.
In a world of plenty, no child should go hungry. In a world of plenty, no child should be robbed of the opportunity to succeed based on their circumstances.
Hope For All is 100% funded by the incredible generosity of private donors, and exists to connect those with the means to give, with children in dire need of these means.

HFA functions via direct contact with the incredible caregivers at our partner orphanage. These caregivers, who have devoted their lives to raising children without the comfort of family, guide our programmatic and funding decisions. This partnership is made possible by the generosity of the Global Orphan Foundation, which has dedicated their on-the-ground staff and resources to keep HFA connected with our partnership orphanage.
Uplifting One of the Most Underserved Communities in the World; Congolese Orphans
The Democratic Republic of The Congo is by many indicators, one of the poorest places on earth. Nearly three quarters of the population lives in extreme poverty (less than $2 per day) (Unicef), and life expectancy is under 60 years old (Oxfam). Lack of infrastructure, government assistance, and persistent conflict have left many of DRC’s citizens vulnerable; please visit our Commitment to DRC page for additional context. However, some of the most vulnerable in DRC are orphaned children. Without consistent public funding or programs, orphaned children are often malnourished, victims of violence, and left to fend for themselves at an early age. While the caregivers at our partner orphanage have dedicated their lives to changing this situation for the orphans in their community, but they lacked the resources necessary to support all the children in their care. Before Hope For All began partnering with the Kinshasa DRC orphanage, funding was only available for about one meal per day per child, and only a few children would be able to attend school intermittently.
In 2018 Hope For All began our partnership with the Kinshasa DRC orphanage, and since then, the children have had consistent nutrition of several hearty meals per day, they have all had the opportunity to attend school (and they have all been able to pass onto the next grade each year!), and they have received new school supplies and school uniforms each year.
Your donations to Hope For All Have Maximum Impact
Hope For All is 100% volunteer run and therefore, 100% of all donations go directly to orphan support programming. As a small organization, we can track the impact of donations big and small, ensuring that any donation translates directly into resources for orphans in the DRC.
